Incomplete quick format USB HDD: is it possible to reverse the changes or just re-format?

Mistakenly started USB HDD quick format. Rufus. I immediately pulled it out, but...
At the root of the disk, the structure of files and folders was preserved, but the names became from hieroglyphic sticks, and neither folders nor files can be opened. The memory is occupied by these inaccessible files. Wondershare Data Recovery only finds three folders DIR00000000, DIR00000001, DIR00000002. In ...01 there is an IndexerVolumeGuid, WPSettings.dat .
Quick formatting, it seems, makes small changes to the contents of the disk, cleans the directory, or something. Is it possible somehow to restore it, the directory?
I think if you carry out a quick format to the end, the recovery program will find all the files. But the problem is that I don't have as much hard drive space as there was on this external HDD, and slow internet, means the recovery process will take longer than probably possible, thanks to your help, option. If the changes made cannot be reversed, is it possible to somehow write the recoverable files to an empty place and the place of already recovered files on the USB HDD itself?

@dinegnet

It is possible to reverse the formatting.
But it will be more reliable to simply use the utilities for recovering information from damaged disks.
========================= It
is extremely unlikely that you managed to pull it out in time.
After all, quick formatting is almost instantaneous.

Re-formatted the drive. The data structure has been preserved, but their volume has halved from what it was. Many files are recovered damaged. It's a pity.
