In what units is it better to indent between blocks during layout?

Hello. Tell me, please, is it better to do the margins of marrgin and padding in percentages or in pixels, if the rest of the layout is fully adaptive for any scale?

(I myself assume that if the layout is stretched, then it is better to do indents as a percentage).

And the second question: poke your nose, where to read, how to better / cleaner implement indents - glue a block to a block and move objects inside through padding or move the blocks themselves using margin (top or bottom?)?

Although it is not entirely clear what you want, but most likely you do not know about FLEXes and therefore ask such questions. Therefore, it is better to study flex and grid and no longer have to typeset with crutches...
