In what direction should a “potential” physicist move?

Hello. I study at the institute, not at the Faculty of Physics, but it's a pity. In general, I always loved physics and taught all 11 classes at school, a kind of passion, well, or a hobby, something like that, and so I started studying at the institute and somehow stopped developing in this direction, because there is not enough physics and there is only school, but I know her, but I would like to grow further in this direction, I want something more than a school curriculum. So, can you advise something? Are there books or something? Please, I will be grateful.

Feynman Lectures on Physics.

in general, start with Feynman. Read about it. Read the book "Of course you're joking, Mr. Feynman." Watch his video on youtube.
The goal is not even to get the basics of physics. And in order to adopt his mindset. To delve into the problem and see issues where others do not notice them. Be able to explain complex things on your fingers even to a child. For a physicist, this is more important than accumulated knowledge.

What's wrong with you people? There was no neuroscience and genetics at my school at all. This did not prevent me from shaking up all the surrounding libraries and finding not only non-fiction books on the subject, but also hardcore textbooks. And now you have the Internet, an endless warehouse of information on any topic!
