In the logs there are meaningless references to the names of the left sites in the referer, what's the point?

In the site logs I see a large number of requests of this kind (see a piece of the log). The sites in the referer are different, mostly of an advertising-spamming type. Moreover, they often refer to one page. I deleted such a page from the site, they continue to load it.
(the site in the referer scored with X's)

8:45:53 +0300] "GET /my_page.html HTTP/1.0" 302 0 "http://www.XXXXX-XXXX.ru/" "Mozilla/0.91 Beta (Windows)"

8:45:54 +0300] "GET /my_page.html HTTP/1.0" 302 0 "http://www.XXXXX-XXXX.ru/" "Mozilla/0.91 Beta (Windows)"

It's been going on for a couple of years now. What is the meaning of such appeals?

Option. This referrer page should have a link to your page. The page is visited by a bot, downloads other pages via links, gets to yours. There shouldn't be anything wrong. Look from what IP the download is coming from, punch the IP. If one and the same - maybe it makes sense to get confused with deny on the firewall? If these are search engines, then don't worry about the problem. What was on that page? Couldn't there be a remote web shell?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
