In articles on Habré, the encoding of the text displayed in italics beats
Does anyone else have a similar situation: in all posts, text in italics ("<i>...</i>") is output in a broken encoding?
At the same time, if I remove the tag with the inspector, or make the styles " font-style: normal; ", or even " font-style: italic; font-weight: bold; ", or change the font to another one, the text becomes normal.
And if on any other site I set the Verdana font as an inspector, italics - everything is fine.
I will not think where to dig. The font in the system seems to be normal, it turns out ... It all started, it seems, a long time ago, maybe even after the autumn update ... Italics appeared on the site only once, then I didn’t pay attention.
Any ideas?

Win7, latest Chrome.
The same bullshit. With any "decoration" of the text - bold, italic, strikethrough, etc.
Spontaneously appears, spontaneously disappears.
