Import mail from Yahoo to Gmail

For some reason, importing mail to Gmail works for some yahoo accounts, but doesn't work for others. I enter the password correctly, there is nothing else to make a mistake.
Moreover, the support is silent, how to contact them? The help forum does not respond.

If the previous method does not work, then you can use one little-known fact: Yahoo Mail supports the IMAP4 protocol. Here are the settings:
imap.mail.yahoo.com / SSL / port 993. Download with an email client to your computer, and then “drop” everything downloaded to Gmail via Google's IMAP in the same email client. Not elegant, but workable.

As one of the options (perhaps silly) Download mail with an email client. Outlook or something.
And then send it all to google mail. This is if the standard settings in the Google web interface do not help.

Anyway, this is how I made POP3 on my @yahoo.com mailboxes.
