Image gallery without padding?

I use the built-in gallery in posts by inserting the shortcode [gallery size="full" columns="1" link="none" ids="99,100"]. Each page is thus filled with images to the full width. The problem is that the images recede vertically. I would like them to be merged together, without indents. Can it be done somehow? Or do I need to download a gallery plugin?
