If the processor does not support the architecture of the distribution?
I want to buy myself an over budget pinebook pro laptop.
Its processor only supports ARM architecture and Arch linux only officially supports x64_86(amd64).
There is of course an ARM port, but will it work as well as x64_86 (amd64)?

From my experience with raspberry pi, which is actually a full-fledged computer on an arm, the size of a pack of cigarettes, I can say that it rolls quite well as a workstation for "surfing the Internet", "watching movies", etc.
Linux normally lives on armas. Browsers work, video (if not matryoshka) does not slow down.
Games with developed realistic graphics - forget it.
Complicated mathematical calculations - by, there with mathematics in the rake process.
Well, etc.
