I will write a small application for Android?

I want to tinker with the Android SDK. The desire is there, the motivation is not. I need motivation :)
I'll write a small program for Android for someone's personal needs. Thank you. Accordingly, I have no experience in developing for this platform - I write for iOS.
UPD Started writing a tool for entering passwords and characters from several layouts.

Write a password switcher :)
When you enter the password in Russian letters, the program automatically translates into the corresponding characters in English. according to the keyboard.
For example, you enter - "mom", at the output you get "vfvf"
Although such a program already exists, but it is too inconvenient.

I don’t know if there is such a program or not, or maybe it’s not needed:
A person is waiting for a very important message in ICQ, but for example, he needs to go to the toilet, or to the street, or somewhere else - it doesn’t matter, but you need to answer quickly after the message arrives . We need such a program to transmit to the Android phone over the network that a message has arrived, and if you suddenly didn’t hear it, it would remind you.
But then I found out that ICQ made simultaneous login from several devices, which pleased me. But it would be better if they did it so that you could choose in the settings whether to send a message to all clients, or to one (the last one that changed status or wrote a message). Because it happens that on the street it went somewhere far away, and Wi-Fi stopped catching, then the network appeared on the other side, and the message had already gone to the computer. And after calling from the phone, it is no longer visible.
You can, of course, set remote desktop viewing, and see if a message has arrived.
But I’m thinking about such a thing: some device in the computer, and a key fob with me. One of the options is a home call with a radio button, a button to the computer via LPT, a call with you :) And you will hear it anyway, and you can write a reminder on the computer, conveniently.
If anyone has any better ideas, write back
PS Not the wife checks :)
