I want to make my own linux distribution based on an existing one?
There is a porteus linux distribution. I really liked it and I used it for about a year, until there was a hard drive on the laptop. But in it the core and some packages are a little old, although relevant. I want to make my own version based on this distribution, with the latest kernel and software. What do I need for this? Cut out the mention of the word "Porteus" from the distribution and indicate somewhere (where exactly?) that my distribution is based on "Porteus".
PS: I'll ask you not to joke about "Bolgenos")
PS2: Linux and Open Source are created for this, so that if a person is not satisfied with something, he takes everything he needs and sculpts it into one heap. This is how distributions are made.
