I want to learn how to program in Python. Where to begin?

Good day. I recently decided to learn how to program in Python. Where do I begin? Before that, I hadn't done anything seriously. I know Delphi a little.
PS It would be great if someone wrote links to various materials on the Internet that may be useful to me.
Thanks a lot.

wombat.org.ua/AByteOfPython - "Python bite" in Russian.
"Think Python" by Allen Downey - even preferable, it's a _textbook_ (while Lutz's books are more like reference books). And then register on the resources listed below and solve practical problems:

Mark Lutz - Learning Python 4th edition - I liked it, clear language, lots of examples, everything is explained.
