I want to install linux as the main OS, but I don't want to lose my licensed Windows. How to leave the option to install Windows again later?

I bought a netbook with win10 on board, but Windows does not work very fast on it. I want to install linux, but I don't want to lose my windows license. The question is, how can I save the license, I don’t have a disk with a key, and is it possible to save licenses during the demolition of Windows?
Thank you.

You will not need a license key during installation. it is enough to install exactly the same version of Windows, and upon activation of the OEM, the license will be automatically picked up.
Also, there is usually a special recovery partition on the hard drive. it is advisable not to touch it.
