I want stability and beauty. Which Linux distribution is right for you?

I read the questions already asked and somehow they did not help me decide too much.
During my short half-year experience of using Linux systems, I tried Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Elementary OS. If we trace the reasons for the transitions from one to another, then I was satisfied only with Xubuntu. Ubuntu was version 12.04. I thought that since the LTS version is not reliable. Time passed and in one of the launches I caught a black screen with which I could not do anything. Xubuntu started to spoil my mood from the very beginning: it turned out that the volume indicator did not work in it and that the developers were already "working" on fixing it.
Well, let them eliminate the flag, remove the indicator and sit on this operating system for a long time. Until recently, when I decided to install Elementary OS, it crashed because during startup I connected my phone to the computer as a Wifi adapter (in modem mode). The system became dead. Couldn't do anything and had to delete it. I do not want such unstable beauty and, to be honest, I expected more. Although, as a programmer, I understood that if something is based on something, then the number of errors only increases.
Here I come to the heart of the matter: what distribution will give me a guarantee of work and a beautiful interface? In the last question, I really liked Elementary OS, so I ask you to focus on this when giving advice. KDE and everything that reminds me of Windows gives me bad associations.

If stability is needed, use Debian. But don't complain later about packages being out of date.
But in general, I think you need to sit under Ubuntu / Mint, choose normal hardware, and as soon as you work with Linux, be mentally prepared for the fact that after the update you may need to boot from a USB flash drive and fix something manually.

debian stable is the basis for deb-like distros. + in the latest version uses Gnome 3. Of course, I'm not an esthete, but it seems not bad

A beautiful interface is, as a rule, fonts, by default they are not always acceptable, but everything can be adjusted to the features of the monitor and your taste, so you shouldn’t bother too much with “pretty”, you need to choose an acceptable level of stability and convenience.

Since version 11.04 I use Xubuntu. A couple of months ago I changed the godless Radion to Nvidia and I don’t know any problems at all, it just works =).
Regarding stability, if you choose * buntu, then it's better to take LTS releases. 12.04 or upcoming 14.04

any Linux distro (I already advised debian, ubuntu above) and a couple of months for games with all the desktop environments, window managers, their themes, fonts and finish.
I mostly have either xfce or e18, if you need Linux
