I need to choose a diploma topic related to BIG DATA, e-commerce. Which is better to take?

I need to choose a diploma topic related to big data analysis or e-commerce and link one of the selected topics to the web.
I provided a scientific hand with a list of topics that I came up with myself. For example, I suggested making a text classifier (say, for several categories), another web platform that will analyze images using neurons. - This is the theme of Big Data. For e-commerce, I wanted to file an online store, tweak the payment system and show what e-commerce is by example.
But the scientific hand said that the topics are very stereotyped and well-traveled. Says come up with something with scientific value. I can’t think of something with this theme that can be implemented in a non-gemorrhoid way enough and that will suit a picky teacher. Do not throw ideas?) Just an idea and a brief description of what it is and what to do there. Thank you)

The time when any machine learning task was proudly called Big Data is long gone. Big Data differs from traditional Machine Learning (including neurons, by the way) in that there should be a lot of data. Highly. Very very very. So much so that you are not able to solve the problem without parallelization, without special methods for working with constant paging, etc. Big Data is not classifiers, not clustering, and not Deep Learning. This is Hadoop and everything around it, this is MapReduce, this is Spark, X-plenty, Cassandra, all sorts of Hana, Teradata, Talend, etc.
Do you really mean this when you talk about Big Data? And do you have terabytes of this very data, and access to the appropriate tools for processing it? Online store, you say? Do you have access to Amazon data?
Maybe for a start it’s worth at least understanding the correct terminology (although a diploma, did you study something for 4 or 6 years?), And only then think about a diploma.
And if you still decide to write a paper in the field of Machine Learning, then I recommend that you first think about what data you really have access to, and on the basis of this, come up with a topic.

Bigdata and at the same time not hemorrhoids? Can not be.

Big Data for a diploma?
It's unrealistic. Or do you, an ordinary student, have access to huge data warehouses? To many terabytes of data?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
