I'm looking for a program on a PC that can disable the mouse with hotkeys?
The story is like this... I have a stroke and my right arm has given up. For games (shooters, action games), I adapted an air mouse (such as the Air Mouse G10) attached to the earpiece, i.e. I control the mouse with my head.
Everything works quite well, but there is one thing, it’s difficult to turn around, because. the air mouse cannot be lifted and moved over the mat as usual, so I set the speed to high so that with a slight turn of the head I can turn around 360g and this greatly complicates the control. For this, you need a program that, when you press a key, for example, Y, it blocks the mouse in order to turn your head and not turn your neck. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has a button that turns on the cursor on the screen, thus blocking the mouse in the game, it is very convenient to play and get good results, but this is only one game that has such a function. I tried many programs that can change the mouse speed on the fly to 0 in Windows, it works, but these programs are blocked in games and do not work.

The first thing that came to mind was a USB hub with buttons that supply and remove power from the outputs? Turned off the mouse - turned - turned on? There is no such thing at hand, I can’t check how quickly the mouse is activated again after turning it on.
