I'm going to learn C ++, but what knowledge do I need to have?
I'm going to learn the language to write the engine and server. I write code in python at an intermediate level, I have been studying pure C for two months now. Will my knowledge be enough (written below), or what knowledge will I need to have in order to successfully write C ++ code, just as I read on the Internet, I need to know AWESOME how much?
My knowledge: high-level programming, I know physics, I can develop algorithms.

For some reason, lately people have been obsessed with programming languages, elevating them to the absolute, making them manna from heaven, a kind of sacred wisdom, especially when it comes to C or C ++. You don't need to know anything to learn how to program. Therefore, go for it - if you were able to master physics, master such nonsense as a programming language, it will not be difficult for you. :)
UPD. By the way, I recommend that you read the following books and in the following order:
1. Michael Dawson - C++ through Game Programming. Of course, it doesn’t tell you how to create Kwaku in one person, but it is full of beautiful and meaningful abstractions that will not only simplify understanding, but also help you truly fall in love with the language.
2. And after Dawson, take "Salter - C++ for Professionals". Right after Dawson. A very good book in good translation.
After these two, read (google) about modern standards: C++11, C++14, C++17. And that's all - you are a "sipipishnik".
