I have html, css, js. What to do next?

I have html, css, js. I want to make a site myself from and to, however, the question arises with the stretch of a simple one-page site on cms, which one is better to choose? I was recommended nginx, but my attempts to install it were unsuccessful. Please describe the steps for transporting the above files to the network for their stable operation :)

I support both of the above options, but for me modx is simpler.
And nginx is a web server. Pull up the materiel :)
