I have a Wildcard SSL for the *example.com domain, how can I get certificates for subdomains?
There is a Wildcard certificate purchased by the organization half a year ago. It is installed on all projects, let's call them web.example.com, mail.example.com, sso.example.com, etc. Is there a way to "generate" certificates for these subdomains? Or just contact the certification authority?

Of course not. That's why CAs exist, to be contacted - and on this they actually make money. If the project is corporate, it may be easier to deploy your CA if you don’t need trust from androids (there are problems with installing root ones) and windows phones (it’s simply impossible there).
