The other day it came once, but a long time ago they sent it in the same way from time to time.
Just another way to send rubbish: they used to send messages, then authorization requests, now refusals.

I don’t remember how it was in pidgin, but it seems there are anti-spam settings there. Go to settings and check the box "Do not accept links from contacts not in the list"

Neither Bot Sentry nor pidgin-privacy-please can filter authorization refusals, which is why I had to change pidgin to another client :(
