I can't program, is there any point in continuing?

Good day, help advice to a beginner.
A little bit about yourself. I'm 25, an engineer by profession, I'm trying to change my profession. There is a great desire to move into website development and become a full-fledged developer, but every time I try to learn javascript I run into problems. Before this, for about 3 years I was engaged in creating simple sites for a couple of hours a week, purely for myself as a hobby, but then I had to abandon it because of my studies, now I’m good at typesetting, sometimes it takes up to 2 days with breaks to make a simple linting, but when it comes to javascript, then problems immediately begin. Initially, I taught on the learn.js website, I kind of understand, but when it comes to practice, then a stupor begins, I tried to solve problems on codewars, but not everything is so smooth there, the maximum that was enough for me was level 8, I tried to solve problems on 7kyu, however, it takes 2-3 hours to solve a seemingly simple task. At the sixth level, it's generally dark.
Therefore, I don’t know if it makes sense to get into programming at all and spend all my free time on it.
I study JS for about 2 months of theory, and a couple of weeks of practice.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

If you want to program, then of course it makes sense, do not give up and sooner or later you will achieve results. Well, more practice, of course, theory is good, but in fact knowledge comes with practice.

Read more about the Dunning-Kruger effect. If you like what you're doing, then it's worth continuing anyway, even if it doesn't work right now.

Boy, you painted it like you're losing the meaning of life.
Want? Means herach day and night. From the fact that you made a landing and it took you 2 days, everything is nonsense. And that you can’t solve some puzzles, it’s all bullshit too. The main thing is to first shit code in different areas and languages, to understand how everything works. And then the understanding will come that this is how it turns out to be done correctly.

Psychological problems with javascript?
I have great news for you, js in the frontend has a huge growing competitor, to which a complete technological transition of the entire civilization is quite possible within a few years. I present to your attention webassembly

Pfft
You've only been learning JS for two months, of which only TWO WEEKS (!) of practice - it's natural that a huge number of tasks are beyond your power now.
Programming is a skill that takes months and years of hard work to develop, especially for people who have no previous programming experience.
My advice is not to get hung up on pure problems with codewars, but to develop skills in working with the DOM, start to delve into OOP, etc., it will be more interesting and more useful for professional growth.
