Faced the problem of creating a domain on a local server.
I have already tried xampp, ampps, open server and different browsers.
Everywhere the same problem. A directory with a domain is created (in the same place as localhost), all new domains are written to the hosts file. Localhost opens in the browser, but your domain does not. It costs Windows 10, antivirus and built-in defender are disabled.
Please tell me what else is worth paying attention to.

xampp\apache\conf\extra
and edit the file httpd-vhosts.conf
In short, set up a virtual host in Apache.
