If you first installed the CMS, and then installed the template through the "Extension Manager", then you installed only the template (sorry for the tautology). That is, only styles, scripts, graphics and other little things were installed, in other words, the front-end part.
All sorts of goodies, such as sliders, accordions and other "extensions" usually come with the purchase and they must be installed in the same way as the template, and then configured as in the demo or for yourself (and even then, it's not always clear how to do this).
Plus, most likely your content on the site is not distributed in the same way as in the demo and the extensions of this template are not installed, hence the following result.
In theory, you were also most likely provided with a package such as "quickstart". This is exactly the demo version that you watched before buying. You can install it in the same way as a simple "bare Joomla" (it already contains all the extensions, modules, plugins and content).
But even if you get the desired result, you still have to figure out how the developers implemented, brought out and made various features template, modules and components. And
, of course, if you install "quickstart" you will need to thoroughly clean it from unnecessary modules, plugins, etc. And if the site is going to be promoted, then carefully consider the possibility of a CEO for this quickstart template.
