I am writing a term paper (theme, GUI)
You need to write in C ++ and you need a graphical interface. What to choose qt or C ++ Builder? Or is there something better?
The main criterion is the speed of development and convenience. And I just can’t think of (a topic) what to write, and there is only one criterion, 600 + lines of code.
Thanks in advance.

Qt is very simple, I recommend it.
Topics:
1. Tetris
2. Graph visualization
3. Algebraic fractals (with deepening)
4. Workstation
5. Calculator
6…
"600+ lines of code" - shit code? O_o I just don't understand such "criteria"!? Is that how they teach in Russia?
Qt and debilder in the furnace. It would be much more academic to deal with display postscript or x-window.
If you need to simply and quickly in the style of "get off me with your crap programming, here's the term paper" - builder.
Otherwise Qt.
From unnamed - MS Visual Studio (2010, for example). It's not a little more difficult. For me personally, the studio at the first use was much more intuitive than Qt, but all people are different.
By the way, you can download it for free for students by registering here using a scan of the jelly. In addition to the studio, you can get academic keys for free on the SQL server and server operating systems.
Regarding the topic: we mainly wrote Tetris-tanks as training examples.
LOC is a strange criterion indeed. I recommend QT.
As for the topic, you are studying many different courses, for most of them you can write something with a guy. Just choose what you like the most and combine business with pleasure.
Write a client to use semantic networks. here are examples here www.visualdataweb.org/tools.php
