I am looking for an image of the algorithm of actions in the event of an “abnormal” situation with a computer, which could explain to a simple user what to click and where to look. It seemed to me that I saw something similar on Habré, describing the procedure for a person who finds himself in an unfamiliar situation, for example: you need to print a document - you need to find an icon with a printer image; if the program offers to perform some action, then the OK button is used to express consent. Such a flowchart would save a lot of time and teach inexperienced users to "turn on the brain" when working with a computer.

I have not seen such an algorithm, and I doubt that by composing it, it will be possible to make it universal.
Although you can try, for very beginners, you can.
Based on my experience, I can start with a few very simple points:
- If the program displays a window with one button - do not panic and do not try to call the familiar "computers". Carefully read what is written in the window, and if you agree, and there are no words “delete”, “irretrievably”, “lost” and the like, feel free to click “OK”
. Unfortunately, the second item will be an instruction like this:
- Run the program like Petromi.com and take a screenshot of what's happening on your computer. Send me the link on Skype and I'll tell you what to do.
And then I already explain to the person how his problem is solved, and under my guidance he does it (it is important that he himself and after the second or third time the problem is solved on his own).
Or are you not talking about that?
