http2 transition: Losing or improving speed?

The course of reasoning:
If you transfer the site to http2, then this is a forced transition to https (because now support for http2 over tls/ssl).
But after all, switching to https with encryption is an extra. delays/requests for the operation of the encryption itself.

Will there be a profit in speed?)
Or is http2 so cool that it will not pay attention to the costs of working on an encrypted protocol and will still give a profit?)
