How will updating python from 3.4.0 to 3.4.2 affect the operation of modules and libs?

Interested in the question if ubuntu 14.04 updates python 3.4.0 to version 3.4.2 will not merge previously installed modules and libraries like opencv, numpy, pygame, virtualenvwrapper?
Found here how to do it, I'm wondering if the previously mentioned modules and libraries will work after the update?

You do not need to do such an update in this way.
Need a python assembled on your knee - collect, not install, use~/bin/python34 script.py
