How will the performance of an SSD inserted in SATA II, and not in SATA III, be affected?

The SSD specification says SATA III, but my mother only supports SATA II. Will this affect the performance of the SSD and how much?

Will it affect performance
Yes, it will. But it will still be noticeably faster than HDD.
and how strong?
Depends on the nature of the use of the computer, on the tasks. For a typical home or office desktop, you won't really notice the difference. It will be noticeable when copying large files (databases, movies, iso images, etc.) Well, it depends on the speed of the SSD itself - it is obvious that the difference will be even less noticeable on cheap SSDs.

As I see it, everyone focuses on linear reading / writing But you won’t really notice the
difference between 200mb and 400mb / sec But 4k random reading / writing is a more important parameter, and it won’t change much So, no, it won’t affect
