How to write THIS in Shell language?
Greetings. There is a task at the university where you need to write a program in the Shell language. With UNIX and with scripts in particular, I understand very poorly, I don’t even understand how it should work. If you google, then for a general query it doesn’t give anything on the topic (except for the same question on this site), and in order to google for the details of the question, there is no understanding to divide this question into sub-questions.
In general, it is required to write a program in the Shell language to do the following:
"Track user logins / logouts to the system, indicating the time of work and the number of the terminal."
It is a program in the Shell language, since I saw that experts answered, they say it can be found out without Shell. I understand, but they require a program.
Thanks in advance
