How to write RTS camera script in Unity 3D 5?

I can't figure out how to make camera control in RTS style.
Is there Terrain and MainCamera where to attach the RTS camera script?
And what should this script look like? I'm interested in primitive manipulations such as moving to the left, to the right, up and down the map, then I'll add it somehow. The problem is that there are similar scripts in the video tutorials on YouTube, but there is no sense in such videos, rewriting the code from the video for half an hour so that later you can make sure that it is not working, not the best idea, once was enough, put the source code to the authors for some reason in the head comes.
