How to write Linux for UEFI?

Tablet uefi-only (so to speak).
I try to write a 32-bit version with Rufus - it throws an error. I also try 64-bit - no problem

As far as I know, UEFI generally does not support 32-bit systems (although I may be wrong). In general, in order not to attract telepaths, at least describe the error.
