How to write custom logic (in Laravel context)?

The first time I decided to write something like this - I realized that my foot was in the tooth. Questions like: "Is this a separate database for each user? Or a table? And how will all this be connected?" In general, leave me articles, or books that I need to read at a similar level.
Educational project - a simple to-do list with users (as simple as possible, purely for understanding basic things).
