How to write an application?

Hello everyone, I am a first-year student and we were asked to come up with a project / program. Well, we came up with a project, it remains to write a program for android. What do you recommend, what is better to write sharps or Java? The first semester we studied C++, so there are +- basics.

If you do not know either C# or Java, then I advise you to write an application in Kotlin.
Tk kotlin is the native language of android.
If you know C# very well, then you can take Xamarin.Forms

In a good way, you need to write on the Kotlin / Vue / etc. framework.
But if we are talking about a project like - write and forget, then we write in plain Java;
If you want even easier, I would advise b4a (it is unlikely to be useful for the future, but the entry threshold is very low)
