How to write an android application for a web developer?
Good afternoon!
I have a bit of a philosophical question, hoping for some thoughts from the respected community.
We are running a small startup. Until that day, the technical part of the startup consisted of a website, but we realized that we couldn’t move on without an application. Most of the target audience is on android smartphones and we decided to start with this platform.
But there is one problem: the startup is not yet making money from an android developer. And we decided to write the first version on our own in order to hire a specialist in the future (if there is one).
The first version of the application consists of 2 screens:
1. ListView with filtering and loading data from the server.
2. User settings.
There was a question of a choice of technology. At first glance, it seemed that since we are web developers, it’s better to write in React Native or NativeScript, but the dampness of technology and the lack of large projects in production scare me. Yes, Instagram settings are written in React, but these are just settings.
Since the application (seemingly) is not the most complicated, we also look towards native PLs: java, kotlin.
We only know PHP and javascript.
I'm not waiting for an exact answer, I'm just waiting for advice and thoughts.
Thanks a lot!

I would consider web methods if there are very tight budget and time frames, many platforms and there are no special requirements for native UX and performance.
From the application that you can now file with your own hands, the future developer is neither hot nor cold - he still rewrites everything from scratch. Well, more pain for you. What for?
Write on what you know how, and there, if it tramples, it will trample :)
Apache cordova (available in visual studio). I recommend that you carefully read the documentation for use and installation.
UPD There's html+js. But having created your own API, you can pervert as you like.
