Hello, today I learned what alias is! Super convenient, of course, but I found that after closing putty, they are all erased from memory!
I casually heard that in order to avoid this - you need to register them in .profile ...

But it does not work like that - do not tell me how? Thank you!

How did you determine what wasn't working?
After the profile was corrected, did you log in again?
.profile is loaded upon login.
Log in and check again.

Try adding aliases to .bashrc in your user's home directory.
