How to write a ban on access to a folder in .htaccess?

The question is as follows. How to write in htaccess prohibition of access via direct link to folders with the name attachment, which in turn lie in other folders with an arbitrary name. It's just not an option to prescribe your own .htaccess in each 'attachment' folder ... Maybe someone faced a similar issue?
