How to work with your table in WordPress on the user side?
Good time of the day.
The essence of the task is as follows:
There is a site on WP, in the admin panel of which there was a plugin taking into account the product, the binding to WP is minimal, only links, and then we fully work with our tables and with our interface, all data is updated by cron event. And the manager has already processed everything manually if necessary.
Previously, on the user side, the product pages were displayed without prices, without taking into account availability, in short, without a connection with the plugin at all.
Now there is a need to display the entire product, with categories and filters on the user part, but so that each product has its own CNC (as promotion is planned), each category has its own link (there is a slug in the database) + multilanguage.
How to do it right, so as not to violate the structure of WP, so that the links work correctly.
Maybe we should create our own custom post type, and use the template to display the information we need from our tables? Do you do the same with categories and filters? Or is there another more reasonable and correct solution?
Thank you for your attention.
