How to work with twitter api (php)?

Hello masters.
Now I'm trying to figure out the twitter api. But my English is not at the highest level, so sometimes there are difficulties.
And somehow I find little information on working with their api. Basically, what I find is work through extraneous classes. But first I want to figure out what and how.
Please tell me how to make requests, on which page, and so on? Or where can I read it?
