How to work with interactive script?

Good afternoon, there is an interactive console script in Ruby, you need to automate work with it, i.e. answer questions and confirm actions.
How are the tools for this task? for bash or python
Learning Ruby or making changes to the original script is not suitable
Rewriting the script to another language is not allowed
