How to watch videos from ftp on Android?

Hello.
An FTP Server with various video content is running on the local network. How can I watch it on Android? I don't really want to install another server (media server). It is desirable to watch MX Player'om, but then how?

VLC can http exactly (this is how I use it at home - from the browser on the tablet I copy the direct link from the home file washer and feed it to VLC on the same tablet). Anonymous ftp, he should also be able to, but I could be wrong.
