How to view/save connection log per user in OpenVPN?

Hello!
Remote workers connect through OpenVPN, which is installed on pfSense.
Management requires a report on which employee connected on which day and how long the session lasted.
How can I generate such a report on pfSense?

It seems to me that the only way is identical for bare Linux.
I see a simple option like this - parse openvpn-status.log, collecting data, for example, through zabbix or telegraf. Further it is already possible to build reports in grafana.
