How to use Yandex map kit with Android 6?

There is a project that uses Yandex maps. I found yandex map kit, but it won't work on android 6 because of new permissions. Should I use google maps? Will there be any bugs with coordinates and everything connected with it?

As I understand it, the Yandex map kit does not work on the 5th version. They abandoned it a long time ago and do not finalize it, maybe a new version will appear later. Yuzai Google

The project is still dead, but since March 11, 2016 it supports Android 6. Clause 2.3.1 of the agreement
says how to get an API key.
