How to use the TV as a monitor (also transmit sound to it) over the network?
Initial data : there is an LG 47LM620 TV (the kit does not include a WiFi adapter) connected via Ethernet to an access point, the TV set is connected via optics to the receiver. There is a PC (in it the hdmi output is occupied by a monitor, there is no optics), connected via Ethernet to the same point.
The task is maximum : to make it so that the telly can be used as a monitor (the desktop was rummaged around on it), an audio signal was received on it and then output to the speakers through the receiver. All this must happen over the network.
Minimum task : to make it possible to output sound from the computer to the TV (the TV will leave the signal to the receiver, and that to the speakers).
Conditions : do not buy any new equipment, do not use additional wires.
My decision(theory, it didn’t work out in reality): using WiDi technology, use the TV set as a monitor for a computer, however, as mentioned above, there is no waffle module in the TV set, it is connected to a point via Ethernet, which makes it impossible to use this technology.

If the TV finds a DLNA server on your computer, you can display the desktop and sound from your computer on the TV. ( tversity.com ) - there is both a server and a screen server.
Unfortunately, this dream will most likely not come true.
WiDi does not need WiFi on the TV, but it does require a special adapter. Yes, and a compatible computer (processor, wifi module)

DLNA will allow you to watch movies over the network, but just like a monitor, broadcast an image from the laptop screen - alas.
I have DLNA configured - a Nero MediaHome server is up on my computer. So I watch movies with DLNA. However, my wife listens to music from the VKontakte website or online radio, and so the minimum task arose - to send sound via ethernet to the TV set, and from it to the receiver. And since all communications are neatly hidden under the floor - you don’t want to pull additional wires at all.
Is the option with an HDMI splitter / switcher and switching the computer output either to a monitor, or to a TV or in the “clone” mode simultaneously without using Ethernet not being considered?
