How to use the LGPL license for Java and Android?

Under the LGPL license, it is not necessary to open source the program that links with the library.

It's not entirely clear how to apply this to Android and Java.

If I put the library jar inside the apk and executable jar, won't that be a violation of the license?

And if so, what do I need to do to align everything with the LGPL license (without disclosing the source code of my application)?
