How to use SSH Tunnel as SOCKS and not get noticed?
Home: There is an external ip, a router, SSH on it with certificates.
Work: Corporate network, proxy with auth. -> as a result, Messages, Gmail in the mail client (IMAP) and so on do not work.
Idea: Throw SSH Tunnel from home to work and run it (tunnel) throughout the system as a SOCKS proxy and not be seen in the admin logs.
Done: Threw an SSH tunnel, started up all the traffic - everything is fine, everything works.
Did not: My router is lit in the logs and that I am uploading traffic there. I want to become a ninja :-)
Here is the question, in general, my problem is solved by forwarding only certain ports (for mail and messages) - this is of course a crutch, but still. How in this case not to light up?
