How to use something like Global menu in Cinnamon shell on Linux Mint like in Unity?

Hello!
I searched a lot on the Internet, but did not find a solution. Maybe the audience of the toaster will help me.
I really want to use something like the Global menu in the Cinnamon shell on Linux Mint, as in Unity. To move the menu bar to the panel, while the window buttons and title remain in their places. There is nothing similar in the official applet repository. Does anyone know a third party solution?

PS I have Linux Mint 16 Petra and Cinnamon 2.0

There is such a thing maximus - it removes the status bar; but for me it took off somehow crookedly.
+ use keyboard shortcuts as an option.
