How to use python on macbook air m1?

Tell me please, is it worth trying a poppy on m1 at all, as the main machine for programming in Python? And what difficulties can you face, what tools would you recommend? Is it suitable for big projects in the future, I'm still learning python and want to use a mac for work

yes, air on m1 is fine. But I highly recommend the version for 16GB of RAM and from 512 main memory. 16GB for programming is a necessary but sufficient minimum
