How to use limit in sphinx http api?

When working with http api ( sphinxsearch.com/docs/devel.html#http-rest ) in /search LIMIT is equivalent to LIMIT 0,N , i.e. if I need offset, then I have to use /sql query. Is there a hack to pass the offset parameter to /search ?
