How to use ilMerge on framework 4.7? Alternatives?

I need to embed dlls into exe.
I read that there is such a feature as ilMerge.
But I did not find normal instructions, and somewhere it is said that it is outdated.
Can you suggest alternatives or understandable instructions for ilMegre

ilmerge works fine on 4.7.2
There is also Fody Costura - does the same thing
