How to use git from FTP?
I am working on a site directly via ftp on Php Storm. I'm the only one on the project. I came across Git and it would help me a lot with version rollback.
What is the correct way to work with git and remote server?
My assumptions are to have a local copy of the site on your computer, link git to it and already upload the version to the "combat" site that is on the hosting?
But in order to visually see how the code works on the site, do you need a local copy on OpenServer, and not just a folder with the site?
Tell me please :)

Gita development. Production without git. Continue uploading to the server via ftp/scp/rsync.
