How to use encrypted file in ansible?

I use the uri module for mtls, the client key is used, I encrypted it on ansible-vault, I pass the vault password when calling the playbook, but it does not work, do I need to decrypt this file first?

ansible must pull out the variable from the vault itself if a password is passed and if this vault is where ansible is looking for it
